Micro river turbines that deliver abundant clean energy for all
Unlocking hydrokinetic power everywhere
-
A new approach to micro-hydropower
The Rivergy system uses turbines that work in any flowing stream of water and require zero head pressure. Multiple turbines are combined to maximize the collection of kinetic energy from any size waterway. From camping and off-grid, to farming and utility scale, Rivergy has a solution that fits.
-
Affordable
Our main goal is to unlock the power of rivers at the lowest cost possible. We achieve this with patent pending micro turbines that are made via additive manufacturing to enable complex geometry and reduced part count. Combining many small, low-cost turbines is the key to unlocking extremely affordable energy.
-
Easy to Use
Rivergy's turbines are simple to install and use. They do not require a dam, plumbing or construction skills.
- Install the simple anchorage system.
- Place turbines in the flowing water and let them float downstream. The lines will take up tension and the turbines will start to spin automatically.
- Start collecting energy!
-
Environmentally Friendly
River power is a consistent, reliable, unlimited source of clean energy.
The system preserves natural river flow and is made of non-toxic materials, minimizing disruptions to aquatic life. A screen on the turbine inlet prevents fish from entering. If necessary, the turbines can be easily moved or removed to accommodate migratory events.

The power of many
The ground breaking aspect of Rivergy’s approach is how multiple turbine modules can be connected together like building blocks to increase the effective area of the turbine array and increase overall power output.

Pump it up
Our first product line uses river power to pump water up to 100 ft in elevation (43 psi). No electricity or gasoline needed!
The single turbine Creek Pump can move hundreds of gallons per day depending on the lift height and river speed.
Use it to water gardens, care for farm animals, shower at camp, supply non-potable water for your RV or off-grid cabin.
If you need more, our 3-turbine "River Pump" kit (coming soon) will move even more water per day, making it great for small scale irrigation.
Larger pump systems are also possible, reach out to discuss your custom needs!

Power it
Rivergy is developing small, low-cost hydroelectric generators to extract clean energy from any river, creek or waterway.
